Gstaad, Switzerland

You Deserve a Vacation!

OVERVIEW

Gstaad is situated in peaceful, rustic alpine village that has been a favorite vacation destination of prominence for decades. The Gstaad Super Ski Region caters to it’s clientele with gusto. Amenities such as 4 ski schools with over 200 ski teachers, 70+ miles of cross-country skiing trails, ski touring, indoor and outdoor curling and ice-skating, 3 miles of sledding trails, swimming pools, saltwater pool, indoor tennis courts and much more. It is one of the few resorts in the Alps where any inexpensive alternative for your accommodations won’t be found, unless you travel to one of the outlying villages. There you’ll find a hotel of less than 3-star standard.

There is off-piste skiing possibilities throughout the resort, sometimes steep ones – particularly on the wooded flanks of Wispile and on Eggli. The run under the top gondola above Rougemont is a must visit for advanced skiers, and the Diablerets glacier is an exciting advanced-intermediate entry to the steep stuff. Black runs above the Col du Pillon are expert terrain only. Heli-skiing is also available, not surprising in this very affluent resort.
