Jackson Hole Ski Resort, located in Teton Village is revered by expert skiers the world over. They come to test their skills against the deep powder fields, narrow chutes and vertical rises as high as 4139 feet (the greatest continuous in the country). Jackson Hole ski Resort boasts the largest vertical drop of any ski area in the United States, and Ski Magazine has tagged it as the most challenging ski area in the known universe. But by no means do you have to be an expert to ski here. In fact with 2500 acres of skiable terrain spread over two mountains, there’s more intermediate runs at Jackson Hole than most any other resort.
Located 12 miles from the town of Jackson, Teton Village offers base lodging, restaurants, bars and shopping. Scheduled public buses operate between town and Teton Village.
