OVERVIEW
Courcheval is a beautiful, contemporary ski area, with magnificent vistas from all of the five tiers of villages that rise up the valley. Because of the planning, the resort boasts of nearly total ski-in ski-out skiing for guests. The skiing terrain ranges form long, smooth cruisers, to precipitous, tight couloirs. There are three resorts to explore in the unrivaled Trois Vallées network, named after the base elevation of each– Courchevel 1850 is the smart part, 1650 and 1550 are quieter, while 1300 is a real village.
The varied terrain suits all abilities with a selection of 86 trails of up to 14 miles length. Courcheval’s day passes are transferable in the Trois Valle area of Meribel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens. A children’s village catering to 2-13 year olds frees you up all day and gives the kids a chance to learn to ski while having great fun.
